Management Console ]
Sign Up:
This function sheet allows new members to join TCI using their personal
information and Thumb Print Identity. While only one account is allowed
per person, you may link your account to one or more business, partner or family
groupings using "Manage Your Account". All fields in the Sign Up sheet
must be completed. We may ask you for additional information. You
must also visit one of our ID stations to provide us a sample of your
thumbprint, and other identifying information. Upon acceptance of your
application, we will inform you where and how to provide your additional Thumb
Card profile information. You only need register with us ONCE in a
lifetime. From then on, you can use your Thumb Card for any or all
transactions. It is never subject to revocation and there are no renewal
fees for membership. All information provided to TCI is kept in an encrypted
electronic vault system where it simply can not be retrieved for any purpose
other than allowing you to validate a buy or sale transaction, or to provide you
the management and confirmation functions here. No other access is available to
anyone. You can rest assured that your Thumbcard ID is perfectly confidential
and anonymous. There is currently no charge for membership.
Manage Your Account: This
function sheet allows members to add credit or bank cards, bank accounts, obtain
reports, prioritize, assign code names to accounts, and set restrictions, group
payments, and payment attributes, along with other functions associated with
your account. There is currently no charge for Managing your
Account. You may also report any critical events, and keep your profile
history updated with this feature.
Confirm Major
Purchase: This function will work only at locations you
previously designated, and requires additional security confirmation with
respect to the purchases, provided by the Store or Vendor. Among features
provided here are the ability to confirm payment to a vendor for a major
purchase. No payment will be rendered if "additional confirmation
required" is a feature of the seller's offer and sale. Please consult
with the seller regarding this payment option. You may also confirm
automatic payments you scheduled with TCI to any recipient, here, on a periodic
basis of your choosing. You are also able to confirm Third Party Shipping
for a specific purchase here, as part of the "additional confirmation
required" feature. Finally, you will be able to confirm a multi-party
purchase (Group Thumbcard) here of any kind. There may be a charge for
certain activities here, along with the charge assessed by a seller for anything
you purchase and agree to pay for. Certain cancellation activities may
have a small charge associated with them, depending upon type.
Shop Online: This
is a proprietary feature of Thumb Card. The Shop Online feature is broken
down into
SHOP OUR
MERCHANTS: which
provides our TCI Merchant Catalog Online for you to browse. Here a growing
catalog of merchants and wares are available, ready and online for use with your
Thumbcard Payment Account.
SHOP ANYWHERE:
which
provides anonymous proxy shopping using only your Thumb Card for payment
wherever credit cards are accepted or Thumbcard TX Enabled sites exist. A
TX site is one which has a direct interface to a Thumbcard International
clearing agent. At such stores and sites, you will see a tiny TCI logo in
the upper right hand corner of the page while shopping, at all times.
