Official Disclaimer from FlameSpam.org.                                     back

Alleged Flame Spam is the most difficult form of SPAM to police.  For further information about Spam, simply go to GOOGLE.COM or YAHOO.COM or other major search engine and enter the word "SPAM" and hit enter.  FlameSpam.org is not a tribunal, Court, legal authority, web authority, government agency nor for-profit company.  We neither judge companies, websites nor eMailers, nor pass judgment about them to third parties. We simply record complaints, make an effort to verify the complaint appears reasonably accurate, and then make records of the complaint available to the General Public. We have no appeal or tribunal process other than that the original party asking a URL be added, my VOID their submission at any time.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INFORMATION PROVIDED US BY PARTIES REQUESTING WE ADD A URL TO OUR DATABASE.  We do preliminary verification of the complaining party's information only, if we do not recognize anything about the complaint that is either inappropriate from a public decency standpoint, or anything that is not reasonably accurate, we will post the complaint, so long as the party submitting can establish that the URL and/or Emailer is allegedly engaging in Flame Spamming. We do NOT notify the actual party owning the URL in question. The party submitting a URL is solely responsible for the accuracy or inaccuracy of their representations about a URL they allege is a Flame Spammer.

Please note: all URLs added to the FSORG LIST are purported, at the sole responsibility of the party submitting the ADD REQUEST, to be ALLEGED FLAME SPAMMERS.  The URL a submitter Requests to be Added to the FSORG List, have a right to air a factual defense publicly, they may even publish grievances or even, in extreme cases, may threaten or take legal action.  Please consult with your attorney to examine whether or not you should be using the FSORG List to publish someone's URL. If the alleged FLAME SPAMMER has been contacted by you, they may conclude you published their URL to the FSORG LIST, and as a result, could respond in a number of ways, including but not limited to publishing further content about you intended to dissuade you from identifying them.

We will not identify parties who join, nor parties who submit requests, to anyone knowingly, unless ordered to do so specifically by Order of a Court of Jurisdiction over our operation of the FSORG LIST, including but not limited to official Subpoenas and Law Enforcement Warrant's.  NOTE, the party whose URL you ask be added to the FSORG LIST may jump to conclusions, wrongly or rightfully, about who has identified them as being an alleged Flame Spammer and asked that they be added to the FSORG LIST. In that event, you should be prepared to protect your computers and other assets from any form of directed electronic retaliation, if you believe that the party you are identifying as an alleged Flame Spammer knows your identity, address and/or your own URL.

Please Note: In the case where a single individual is being singled out by an Alleged Flame Spammer for a personal attack by FLAME SPAMMING, it is fairly easy for the person to ascertain who might have identified his URL for the FSORG list. Be prepared for the parties whom you accurately identify as purported Flame Spammers to potentially take action that might worsen the situation, as sometimes happens.
